These are the main features:

The SUUNTO Yachtsman provides 4 main functions with various sub-functions:

1. Time keeping (TIME)
   • Time and date, calendar pre-programmed up to the year 2089
   • Dual time
   • Three daily alarms
   • Stop watch with 2 split times
   • Count down
   
   
   
2. Sail Timer (SAIL)
   • Countdown with accustic signals:
     • Double beep on every full minute
     • Double beep every 10 seconds during the last minute
     • Double beep every second during the last 10 seconds
     • Long single beep at completion of count down
   • Count down interval maximum 120 minutes
   • Stores up to 50 split times
   • Log function stores the following data:
     • Start date and time
     • Duration
     • Recall split times (absolut time and duration since start)
   
   
   
3. Barometer (BARO)
   • Range: 300 .. 1100 mBar, rsp. 8.90 .. 32.40 inHg
