These are the main features:

The SUUNTO X3HR provides 3 main functions with various sub-functions:

1. Time keeping (TIME)
   • Time, date and day of week, calendar pre-programmed up to the year 2049
   • One daily alarm
   • Heart beat rate (range: 30..240 beats per minute; resolution: 1 beat per minute)
   • Temperature (range: -20 .. +60°C, rsp. -5 .. +140°F; resolution: 1°C, rsp. 1°F)
   • Barometer (range: 300 .. 1100 mBar, rsp. 8.90 .. 32.50 inHg; resolution: 1 mBar, rsp. 0.01 inHg)
   • Elevation (range: -500 .. +9000 m, rsp. -1600 .. +29995 feet; resolution: 1 m, rsp. 3 feet)
   
   
   
2. TRAINING
   • Stop watch with 10 lap times
   • Programmable intervals (1 or 2 intervals), watch sounds short signals when the countdown reaches zero.
   • Elevation
   • Heart rate monitor shows current and average heart rate
   • Graphical representation of the current heart rate in relation to lower and upper limit (limits configurable by the user)
   • Accustic alarm informs you if the current heart rate goes outside the lower or upper limit (if the alarm is activated by the user)
   
   
   
3. MEMORY
   • Stores up to 10 trainig units. Provides the following information for each unit:
     • Date and time when training unit begun
     • Duration of the training unit
     • Average heart rate during the training unit
     • Minimum and maximum heart rate during the training unit (Min/Max)
     • Total ascend and descend during the training unit (Asc/Dsc)
     • Minimum and maximum elevation during the training unit (High/Low)
     • Up to 10 laps with running total time, time for each lap and heart rate at the beginning of each lap
     • Date and time when the training unit ended
